Hello,
press the CTRL-key and circle with the mouse pointer around the desired area.

Hello
here: Selecting Provinces
one of mods answered my question but I am not able to reproduce same effects that he has.
Is it possible to describe step by step what to do to select multiple provinces with mouse with clicking them one by one?
I tried in legacy mode and new view but described solution does not work for me in either case.
Thank you
GF

I have also corrected the mod who replied, he must have been confused on how to do it. Nevertheless it is possible. If you managed to do so please state so then we'll close this thread.
jesus christ -
so many years and I have not known about it. can we add it to instruction/manual?
I know that guys also asked me frequently how to manage 2 000 provinces as they do not know shift-click and filtering by columns. that one too could be useful addition to game manual
