Infentry cant catch a Light Cruiser and destroy it

How can Infentry catch a LC that is bring forced marched and sink it ................... I want the Money I spent on That game back!!!!!

because you didn't move the LC in time? this is a regular tactic used by people lacking navy to take down enemy navy.
