New players receive more troops and an artillery unit on their first game. You must have had the same advantage when you began.

Artillery on Day 6
How did this User6906.... get artillery in New York on Day 6 when I cannot even build a factory until day 8? You can see I am on Day 6 and Factory is disabled, yet there is obviously an artillery unit behind the screen. That would be huge advantage to have.

Maybe? My first game I took Minnesota and ran through Wisconsin and then into level 2 bases and Illinois and was eliminated. Ha!
