Enable location tracking to prevent multiaccounting
•
Multi accounting is still an ongoing problem that is rarely punished.
A player is required to basically do all the detective work with minimal tools, submit his evidence, and then hope someone actually reads it and decides to do something about it.
The current anti cheat method is easy to get around with cell phones, or I'm sure that people know how to get around the IP address.
Enabling location tracking will help to prevent a lot of it from happening regardless of people playing games with multiple phones or changing ip addresses

I think there are two problems with this:
1: people could still get around it, i would think you could use a computer at work or school for one acoount and a phone for the other. Then you still couldn't detect it.
2: It would have to be mandatory for all players to share their locations with the game at all time wich most won't do because of privacy reasons so there would be a massive loss of active players

@roblox clicker I've been monitoring the multiaccounting issue in Supremacy 1914 for a while, and I completely agree that providing location tracking may be very beneficial. It's disappointing to see so many players abusing the system. That being stated, how would you strike a compromise between protecting player privacy and enforcing these rules?

I can understand the frustration. But I play also some games with one of my son (not all, but 2 games are ongoing with him). Sometimes he plays from our house, on his phone, when I play on my phone or computer. We are not multi-account, even if we collaborate most of the time (not always, but it's another story...). With your proposal, this kind of situation will be wrongly 'detected' as muti-account.
Again, I share the frustration, but not your solution.
