Reduce the speed penalty on enemy territory (from -60% to -30%)
Hi everyone,
I would like to suggest a balance change regarding the speed penalty when marching on enemy ground. Currently, the penalty is at -60%, which is way too punishing for offensive gameplay. If you start a perfect surprise attack in the middle of the night, the enemy has hours and hours to react, pull troops from the other side of the continent, and build up a high-level fortress before your army even arrives. This completely kills the tactical momentum of a night attack and rewards passive "turtling" or defensive gameplay too much.Reducing the penalty from -60% to around -30% or -40% would make the game much more dynamic and reward active, well-timed strategic offenses instead of letting the defender easily drag out every single war.
What do you think?
