I suppose that small lake is rather secure now.
Unfortunately, the only way to remove the Hero from that lake is when the Hero gets defeated.

Once the Hero got defeated, the Hero will be on a cooldown for a while and can then be respawned on the map.

Regarding your last question, Heroes stay with your account and can be used on any map you play, not just one game.

In Supremacy 1914, once a Hero like your battleship admiral is deployed to a unit, such as in a small lake, you can’t directly redeploy them to the ocean unless the unit can move there, though defeat in battle might free them up depending on game mechanics. Heroes are only active for the current game and do not carry over to the next one.

Haha, deploying a battleship admiral into a lake sounds like something I’d do too! You can usually recall and redeploy, but heroes don’t carry over moto x3m between games.
