Deleted my Alliance... Looking for Active/Experienced Alliance to join.

13 views... hmmm... not even sure how many of those are my own. lol.

What might be the reason only one Alliance has contacted me, so far? Any ideas?

Having gamed for about 22 years, I think that people tend to just throw a message out there and looking for guild or members and just expect a message. The "it's just a game" attitude tends to narrow people's focus to just what is most important to them for a fast achievement of their personal goals in the game at hand. Rarely do people step beyond that.

gunsofwar... I'm not talking about you personally here. you have gone beyond that attitude and I appreciate it. .

I am curious though.. if there's something I'm doing specifically that is sabotaging my own efforts.

think the part that you dont use skype might sabotage it a bit, cause of what i have seen most alliances uses skype. i might be wrong just saying what my observations have been.

Skype is a younger generation comm. I'd be willing to use it for strategy meetings etc.. but.. as i have said before.. i have moral and social obligations to about 100 people in another game and we all use Teamspeak. So, i WOULD bother figuring out how to use Skype.. but it would be a limited use thing.

There are relatively few active alliances that use the English language on CoW. The fact that you had to delete your alliance should have sent you a clue.

would almost go so far and say that skype is some of the easiest thing to "figure" out. but ofcause it all depends on the people who use it. cause some have it easier with other things. can only say that it might be more easier for you to find an alliance than post it here. you could always use the CoW search functions might help a bit.

But seriously, the best way to promote this thread is to post it in the game chat. You could always use to ask for an alliance. I see people ask to join one all the time.

So... i click through to teh server and try to claim account and it says my email is already registered... likely it's registered by me...

Well, as I said.. i finally got into Discord and Applied to Alliance. Finally took asking my Guild in Teamspeak about discord.. lol. I play 15 hours a day.. so.. if something looks like spam.. it's likely I was obsessed with getting a response all day to fix a problem.
