interested in joining an alliance - love this game but lots to learn

Hi all

I have been playing for maybe 7-8 weeks. Completely addicted. Was doing really well with stats (2+ - 1 in pvp) based on a light tank/bomber strategy until I just got my butt kicked by someone playing a mega-stack artillery strategy. Learned a lot from that game but also taught me that I have lots more to learn. Looking to delve into the nuances of this great game. Have won a third of the games I've joined so far which I think is pretty good for a newbie considering I had no idea what I was doing in the first 3-4 games, then thought light tank+bomber was the key.
