More as 5 members?

This might be a stupid question, but for some reason I can't have more as 5 members in my alliance (not in-game coalition). As I see alliances with more players and my alliance header says 5/20 I assume the max is 20, but how can I increase the amount?

Please help!

Thanks,

Bob

Alliances can have 20 players.

So what specifically is the issue? Is someone not able to apply? Perhaps your settings are set to invite only?

I did, but even if they apply I still can't accept them. The alliance concerned is: BOBBY 1942.

Besides, even with Free to join setting on it didn't work.

We are getting closer to a description of the problem. Do you mean that you can see the applications, but when you press the accept button that nothing happens?

If that is the case you may need to clear your browser cache, close, and restart your browser.

Changing that setting after applications were submitted would have no effect on the applications, you would have to decline the applications and players could then join your alliance.

Not exactly. I see the application, but online have the decline button available. As I mentioned before my alliance currently has 5 members, but it should be able to host up to 20.

Everything is in Dutch, but it doesn't work when I switch to English as well.

And about the setting, I thought so as much :-)

Sadly i don't speak Dutch, but google translate tells me that the word "uitnodiging" means invitation

So in this case you or one of your officers invited this person to your alliance, and not that they applied. The note has been sent, but you can not force the person to belong to your alliance.

That person will either have to look up your alliance and join, or accept the invitation.

There are other methods, here is one set of steps they can follow.

They can look up your page in the ranking tab, and click on your alliance name under your name:

This will bring up your alliance page. If they have been invited (as valcon has) they will have a join button above the battle stats button. Also if you have it set to "free to join" they will see a join button as well. If you are set to "application must be accepted" and they have not been invited then there will be an 'apply" button , and then you will have to accept or decline their application.
