Advisor Bugs

I have had a few issues with the new Advisor system and I've encountered yet another bug in the decision logic of the system. This thread (or similar) might make a good sticky thread for these issues.

Now, the bug I'm reporting is a logical failure. The Military Advisor is suggesting to me that I build a Light Tank in London. However, at the moment of this post, I don't have enough Metal to produce the Light Tank. Logically, the system should suggest ways to either purchase, trade for, or improve the production of Metal. If such measures can be implemented given current resources, then yes, it should do that. But apart from that, the current suggestion cannot be executed. Thus it shouldn't be displayed -- at least -- until I have the proper resources to be able to build what is being suggested.

Also, for the other part -- about suggesting ways to acquire more Metal, if such means cannot be done, then the Advisor shouldn't offer those ideas either. At any time in the game, the Advisor should only offer currently-possible actions with an accounting for resources as well as other parameters. And the Advisors need to be smarter with resource acquisition suggestions....even of disposal of surpluses to the Market either with active current sales or passive sale orders.

It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.

I find the advisers to be the very opposite from what they're meant to be. You should be able to dismiss their suggestions and have a 24 hour fresh.

I fully agree with you as well, offering courses of action that can't take is rather stupid.

yes, it would be nice to be able to dismiss them for a while, or until you reactivate them deliberately. Actually, it would be nice to have both options but the second option (deactivated until deliberately chosen to reactive) should not be available to players without at least level 15.
