Are there any tablet users? (:

Hey Guys,

We were wondering how the tablet experience is for some of you guys. Therefore we thought we might aswell just directly ask our frontline pioneers (don't worry if you are not FP yet)

To fix some bugs at that end, we would like to get some more input from tablet users.

If you are interested in giving us some feedback (possibly via skype) and have some spare time please write me a private message. (:

I don't see how tablets would affect it, but I take anti-histamines and the the game seems to run okay. Hope this helps.

Hi, I usually play from my tablet, so it could report bugs found, Any problems, I report.

Using a Microsoft Surface Pro- in tablet mode. No real issues.

Agreed. My android tablet doesn't like the game no matter if I use Chrome or another browser I've installed from the Play Store.

I use an iPad Air and google chrome. Its playable with this, which I use most of the time.

It's difficult to click and drag units even zoomed in. Sometimes all of a message doesn't show up. Example: if I go to produce a unit, and use the information button, the message that pops up on what buildings I need to produce this unit is partially off screen.

Former tablet COW player here

the amount of lag was too damn high!

This player may have been reactivated in October 27th 2017

I am not a tester, but use a Samsung Galaxy 5 (Barnes and Noble Nook version) when at work. It is not possible to do some things like select multiple stacks, but for basic stuff I get by.

Also my tablet has a major glitch when trying to do Espionage. Essentially everything freezes up and you have to close the game and then relaunch it to clear the screen.

It can be frustrating at times . if i try to move units to far the unit stops and I have to try again . Sometimes three or more times . I was locked out and had to wait three days before I could login again loosed a game for inactivity . Number 2022712. If I did love the game I would just quit ! I don't have a computer to play here in the boonies .

Do you still have the problem with our new mobile version that was just released?

No thanks.

Tablets are somehow difficult to classify. They are mobile and desktop devices merged. Tablets have serious difficulties in running the game softly and smoothly in mobile versions, especially when it comes to espionage and newspaper. Everything instantly freezes and i have to quit the game. When it comes to desktop, however, the game experience is OK despite that it is impossible for us to select mutiple armies.

You can select multiple armies on desktop by drawing a circle around them with the right mouse button (you can do the same on mobile and tablet by holding your figner on the map for 1s, then drawing the circle). On desktop you can also double click on a unit type to select all armies with that unit type in it. And you can select multiple armies by holding down the shift key while clicking on them.
