fellow coalition member is able to take my territories

Heres whats going on. Im philippines. In my coalition ( Im the coalition leader ) is Korea. I sent armies to North America and destroyed all my enemies. I also took all of South America. Over the week since the north America take over A very strange thing is happening that is causing a dispute between Korea and myself. I have no idea how this is even possible.

The moral levels in the territories are all over the map ( thats normal ) every so often the moral drops to a level that the territory revolts. That too I understand is normal. Here is the bizzare thing. They territories are not revolting and going back to the countries that owned them before I took them over. In a large area in north Mexico/ south USA they revolt and choose to go to .... KOREA of all places ... Korea never owned them before so why are they revolting and choosing KOREA. hold on it gets even more Bizzare. The territories that are revolting have no buildings and yet when it happens every so often a newly revolted territory will have a Korean armored car unit on it. Even more Bizzare the new Korean territory has 62 Moral immediately as soon as it revolts. The Entire southern USA northern Mexico area is continuously dropping moral even though I have been able to own the entire area for short times.. except a few revolting territories. If I dont take them back ( I kick Korea out .. attack the revolted territories re take them then invite korea to re apply to the coalition ) the Korean revolting territorries become quite a few in a very short time. I have played in other rounds of COW and I have never seen anything like this .. I need help Please can some one explain what is going on.

example: i am belgian but 62% of my fellow belgian mates wants to join france. germany conquers us, we revolt and join france

provinces in africa can rebel to iceland(another example), is not common, but it can happen

I can see territories in Africa revolting to Ice land if Iceland owned territories in Africa and the good moral of those territories was influencing african territories to revolt to Iceland.. otherwise if African territories just out of the blue are revolting to Iceland thousands of miles away and that is normal in this game then this game ... in my opinion needs work.

as said, it's not common, the most common thing is that they go back to their original owner, however the X factor gives us surprises sometimes

The X-Factor

X factor applies not just for battles, but also for revolts, spies and some other things

From what I have seen, if you conquer 100% of a countries provinces, nothing will revolt to the conquered nation. Provinces will only revolt to another country still in play. If you conquered all of the Americas, than likely Korea is the closest country to revolt to. So going to Korea seems logical if I understand the map description properly. The morale aspect with revolt and production is an issue for the 25, 50 and 100 player maps, with numerous suggestion threads in forum. In the interim try building fortifications to bump the morale up. As to the AC, was an AC there at time of revolt? If so that is normal, as your troops defected.

That was a well thought out and accurate description of the situation.. I can see that being a possibility. we are down to 6 active players I believe so yah I guess that makes sence. thanks.

I didn't carefully read everything in every post, but provinces that rebel will lookfor the nearest country with the highest morale. As far as what all is in the algorithm devs designed for where the province ends up, they don't share theirsecrets.

Rebelling provinces can spawn troops from the ether. I have seen this happen.

Apparently the rebellion engine spontaneously equips the rebels with a minimal level of troops. Further production is limited by the actual production facilities but don't be surprised by Militia, Infantry and Armored Cars appearing out of the ether.

I like to think of it as the boys in the back woods putting captured weapons on top of their pickup trucks.

also related is that when I got my food production under control the wierd stuff seamed to go away at the same time. I was at minus 2000 an hour food production and although I had over 200,000 food in storage a lot of bad things were happening just be aware that if you must go into the negitive to that degree a lot of bad comes from it.. I highly recommend never going beyond minus 400. after that the game starts messing with moral a lot. if possible keep it to even up or even plus. my daily resource production atm is aprox 650,000 tons a day. I am going to every food producing territory and increasing moral by building fortifications then building inf, ind comp, and ports if on a coast line. shutting down ( deactivating )barracks helped a lot.
