get stuck on tutorial. cant attack the units it tells you to due to peace period.

That is interesting.
I don't think there is anything I can do to fix that, and it should affect only this game as your first beta game that runs you through the tutorial.
So just join another one, or wait for peace to be over before you can do anything.
