WHEN THIS ERROR OCCURRED:

I had selected an air unit. Then I tried to drag it to another airbase that was out of range. It converted to convoy mode and started it's slow move. Realizing that I needed to instead build an intermediary airbase, I quickly grabbed that unit and clicked "Patrol" to place it hovering over the location of the future airbase that I had yet to start building. Upon moving the mouse towards the soon-to-be-targeted spot where I was going to patrol, this error occurred.

It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.
The saying, "beating them into submission until payday", is just golden...pun intended.
