I wish you could name divisions

  1. Instead of the 27th light tank division, you could name it polar tank division.

i wish we would get at least classical naming of units from 2014, also regiment, division, army. May be even upgraded to regiment, brigade, division, corp, army, armygroup.

People who tend to swear on the game alot might name their division to something disgusting.

Hey guys, I had a post about this before but it was declined. :(

well it could be made better by the unit being named at random or by the name of the province it was made in ex: 10th 0ttawa regiment, 7th armored cavalry, 12th army, etc.(I can't name more because its my end of thinking capacity)

DUetsch Afrika Corps

I'd like a battalion of wookies please, and a division of amazons while you're at it :)

Keep the Wookies. Heck, I'd take a platoon of Amazons -- if they all look and fight like Gal Gadot.

That said, the problem with adding a unit naming feature -- apart from the obvious programming complications -- is the potential for abuse. I have seen battleships, railroad guns, atomic bombers and nuclear rockets (the only name-able units in the game) with sometimes genuinely funny, sometimes historically relevant, and occasionally even obscure and clever names, but I have also seen far more unit names that are either grossly inappropriate or just kinda dumb.

It would be nice if the current automatic numbered naming system were more consistent with historical precedent and typical World War II (and modern usage): 3 or 4 regiments make a division, 2+ divisions make a corps, and 2+ corps make an army, etc. But, I also understand that there are probably vexing programming issues involved.

That not necessarily a problem if someone names something disgusting you could just report it like you do with messages.

Now the problem of a whole platoon of Amazons that look like Gal Gadot is the twin problem, multipied by 15 or so .... which Gal is it? All in all, not much of a problem in the long run though lol

Why is that a problem?

I love them all. And remember: in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King. Or in the land of the Amazons, the one man is very popular and very tired.

In land of Amazons a man is a slave...

Trust me: if there is only one man in the land of the Amazons, he is going to be a very happy and a very busy man, regardless of his citizenship status. LOL

"The 22nd tank division was crushed by the 1st Squiggle Wiggle airborne division"

Yeah... that had a nice sound to it...

To the point that he would refuse time off lol

Oh, I'm not so sure about that.

You apparently just haven't had the right girlfriend. Sometimes a little down time, sleep and electrolytes are required to keep up.
