If you mean that you click "Start researching" and it doesn't do anything, try to reload the game in the browser.

Research bug
When I click the research of what I want below current reseach it doesn't say anything

No when I click the thing I want to upgrade nothing shows up at all in the bar to the right

Probably best to file an in-game bug report with a screenshot, but posting a screenshot here might get some attention also.

Had the same issue with FireFox - switched to Chrome and never more a problem.
