There are no perfect stacks. You need to compose task-based forces as the battlefield situation develops. When you encounter an air player, OP's "perfect stack" will get obliterated in no time. When trying to rush an enemy nation, Tolol's stack will take a week to do it. You need to be flexible and adjust to the situation all the time.

When the enemy is driven back, we have failed. When he is cut off, encircled and dispersed, we have succeeded.

I wouldn't recommend TDs, they are rather slow defensive units. The large number of heavy tanks will deal with armored targets just fine. I would also recommend more SPAA when needed against certain players. One SPAA makes it quite vulnerable.

what is SPAA

Self-propelled anti-air gun

Honestly, it depends. If you are going against an air player, then yeah, you need a lot. But if you are going against more ground players, you don't need as many, and in some cases, none. You could see me using this logic in the last match we played together. A majority of people were focusing on ground units, primarily heavily armed ground units, so I put my focus on heavy tanks, as that was the best counter to it. No SPAA that game. I never had to use it.

when I can be I like to be a naval a dominant power

For naval battles, most people choose cruisers, as they have decent stats against just about anything, but I like to use them only in moderation, as protection for my battleships, which I use primarily. My normal naval stack consists of two BB, one CA, and one DE. It's pretty effective for both naval battles and naval bombardment against AI, which is what I normally use it for.

I find this is pretty easy to do. I think all but one game I was able to do this.

I couldn’t agree more.

But In an attempt to add to the conversation. The closest you could come to “the perfect stack of ten units” would be seven cruisers and three destroyers. You’ll be fast, have no fear of air attacks and have a few destroyers to defend against subs. You’ll still need a ground force of course, but hey, it won’t be a resource hog to put together.

For a land stack I would say 3 SP rocket arty, 3 SP arty, 1 tank destroyer, 1 armored car and 2 SPAA. This would give you scout ability, the ability to bombard and retreat, some air defense, and some defense against anything that catches you in melee after you bombard and retreat. Plus everything in the stack is fairly mobile. I use a variant of this when I play Comintern. It works well for me, but I’m pretty active.

i agre

I miss the days when you could stack like 100 troops and it wouldn't slow them down lmao

I mean take 100 Tactical Bombers will take down any land unit lol

You do realize that it is a squadron of bombers and not a single bomber? 100×12 about 1200 bombers! The ghost of Ukraine will take them all down :-)

I’m pointing out when you could stack a ton of troops and it wouldn’t effect the speed
