1942 Historic Map

Many players, myself included, love to role play on this game. With 1939 Historic World War, it makes it easy to role play the situation in 1939, including the invasion of Poland, France, operation Barbarossa, Pearl Harbor, etc.

But it’s hard to role play things later on in the war, such as D-Day, since people go inactive

A fun game mode idea would be a 1942 Historic World War map. The countries would have the troops, resources, and borders of their real life counterparts. Only major countries would be playable, such as Germany, USSR, UK, USA, Japan, Italy, (maybe China, Canada, Australia), maybe countries fighting with the Axis like Finland/Romania as well, however not too many nations so most of the action can focus where it happened in real life.

Countries such as Vichy France will exist and be AI

This game mode would be a fun map to play and rp on, and would allow for many battles to be recreated, including changing history like allying Germany with the USSR

Another idea would be premade teams of Allies vs Axis, just to keep things a bit more fair. That would allow for Germany to have a big army (like in real life) without being too unbalanced, because if Germany would ally with the USSR or UK, it would be much easier for them to win. But that's just something for the developers to decide
