Joined a new game (home front) when there were only 5 people active including myself.. I was given Maine as my territory..... Within an hour, Hawaii had already taken a province next to me..... Within the next day they had land to the North and West of me
How is that possible or is it a bug..... the game is technically still in it's 1st day....
I’m guessing because for new players, one of their task is to recapture a province from a random AI country. You probably have a new player next to you.
If that’s not so, I’m not really sure how Hawaii can just jump to the other end of the American continent. You might have to ask others.
Hawaii is the designated IgnorAnt country that has 'invaded' one province from each player on the 50p "america
" map. Those first time players are assigned a mission to take back that province. They also are awarded advanced units and ++ resource production. None of which is enough to keep 98% of them from quitting the game within the first hour.

It happens with Hawaii in Homefront, and with Karelia in Clash of Nations. I agree, it can be confusing - it’s just where new accounts joined the game but didn’t even bother to do the tutorial, so a province is still shown as taken by Hawaii, Karelia, etc…smokeygrouse wrote:
