you get a message saying collect desktop general award......I have not received 3 day or 20 day reward gold even though they are listed as complete.....they never came up in the claim area

There was an achievement bug.. How long have you actually played on desktop? Did you fulfil the criteria?Olde wrote:

There were some people that received achievements that they should not have a week ago, and that was corrected.
Achievement rewards do generally take up to 24 hours to become available. If you have not received them after 24 hours you can send in a bug report from the lower right corner of your game and we can confirm the day and time that you received the gold credited to your account.

Gold rewards are imaginary money, like that of a monopoly game. You don't have an accountant cutting a check for somebody and mailing it to them. There is no technical reason that this function is not performed in a fraction of a second ... 
Yes, same as the in game money. Or government money. However, in some cases, you have to pay to get gold or HC. Which is why it takes time to process. Same for HC, you can't just get it immediately when free HC is given. I am not a coding person but i am guessing it works that way.gusv wrote:

As I understand, it has to do with the validating of achievements and processing of the information which is postponed during heavy server load times to ensure that gameplay progresses smoothly as the highest priority.
True ... My game often freezing several times last 24 hrs- apparently due to heavy load in your servers ... At that time I either restart computer (often freezing again) and/or move to do something other than playing CoW ...VorlonFCW wrote:
