every 5 min the ads for TV shows and other unrellated ads open up on the game screen.
This just started 30 min ago
Sadly most of the ads are not even CoW related.
It comes across as beigng bullied intto buying somethng from the shop. I rather go play a differnt game than be forced to buy something just to get rid of the ads.
Unhappy & disapointed

I ended my last game a few days ago and I'll be taking off a few days for my Xmas vacation out of town to see my 99-year old aunt and other kin ...
However, I would find it disturbing to have my view of the screen interrupted by ads in the middle of the game ...
If the developer needs more income by using ads, I suggest that they do it at the beginning and the end of the game- where it's less likely to disturb players ...

the folloing screen shots are what the ad space looks like on my screen..
Then there is the frequency of the ads, which seems to be about every 5 - 10 min. Its worse than commercial televison.

It may be that your computer got hacked. Mine got hacked once about a year ago by somebody trying to sell me furniture at the What If Sports website. I used a malware program to get rid of it. You may try the same or report bug to CoW (sometimes they may miss forum posts like this one) ...

The ads are being generated by CoW to try and get people to buy things from their shop.
This is not a bug. Users who make any purchase in the bytro shop will never be shown ads again. Naturally users who do not wish to support the operating and ongoing development costs of the game by making purchases are shown ads to generate revenue.
The ads are unique to each player and are selected based on other websites that you or others at your location have visited which is the same as all ads are done these days. If you wish to see different ads you can change your online habits, or use settings within your browser that don’t allow you to be tracked for advertising purposes.

the bug is that the ads are blank.

Most of the ads are blank I should say. There are a few that get through but mostly they are blank. Just white stripes along the right side bar.
Basically your advertising programming include code is flawed. Someone in your R&D needs to fix a few settings.
I wasn't before, but now I have enabled AdSense, to stop them. So it may be that AdSense is blocking the actual advertisment but leaving the space where the ad would normally be seen, as a blank area. I will look into it on my end.

That would be the reason, my ad blockers would do the same.
