Inactive nations are constantly declaring war on me. Im at war with 5 nations without even declaring war on them. and they are superpowers not small nations. (spain/france/italy). i want to end all wars but i cant because everyone is inactive and the Ai is not that intelingent. I get a new war everyday just form defending my provinces.
It all depends on your global popularity
If it is too low A'l nations will declare wars constantly
Until today I haven't found a way to reverse this low morale when the game is very advanced
One solution is to change your relationship from neutral to map sharing at the beginning of each map with the A'l
And don't go out declaring war on everyone in a short amount of time
Longstanding problem with the 'popularity' system.
Eventually, if you are the only live player left in the game,
ALL the IgnorAnt (IA) countries will declare war.
Most important and simple way to save a bit of reputation: don't just start firing when you start a war, but officially declare it via the diplomacy menu.
