airplanes stacks combining at same field

Not sure if this is a bug or glitch, if there even is a fix to this besides, "well just build more airfields."

is there a way to keep a stack of air units separate from other stacks while at the same airfield?

I stack my tact bombers and send multiple stacks and alternate the times taking consideration of refueling times. Well while one stack has a few more minutes of refueling, another stack comes in to refuel and now the stack that is done refueling doesn't take off, and neither does the 2nd stack unless I split, which means I have to stay in front of the screen while the enemy can just "add targets" with their ground troops.

Now the simple fix is, just build more airfields, but you need to take into consideration time and resource to build this airfield assuming you don't fund and if you have 15 tanks coming your way, you don't have time to build an airfield. Also the closest airfield is best to use if you do not have a whole lot of time.

Well,

If I have a big stack, say 20 tacs and 10 fighters. I do either:

1. If attacking same target: split in two and attack with half. Wait 15 minutes (not just 5-10 minutes), then send the second stack off. This distance should make sure they don't "restack" at the airport until the target is destroyed.

2. Patrol over target with first stack, attack with second stack. When second stack is back to refuel at AB you can attack with the patrolling stack (or just leave it patrolling ). Then when the first stack is back at AB the second stack should be out attacking.

3. If attacking different targets, there shouldn't be issues.

1) if I am figuring it correctly, they will eventually stack as you would have to be dead on in the middle of timing.

2) Seems plausible, I will have to give that a try

3) different targets is an issue as they will still stack and then not take off

1) what?
