Are you the leader of the alliance? I am not a leader of an alliance or an officer so I am not sure on how to respond to this, shall go and get the information needed to make an informed post on this matter.

hi i have a problem when i want to kick a member i click change status and then click kick from alliance but nothing happens i checked by reloading the page but still nothing so i thought that maybe all buttons are frozen but promote to officer works its really annoying 
as i want to replace my inactive members with new ones ive lined up

This seems to be an issue for all alliances this week. The developers are investigating.
On a positive note you do now have the ability to kick and otherwise manage your alliance from the Mobile app, and the kick button works properly there.
