Artillery malfunction

This morning I noticed that the army I sent overseas with one unit of artillery stopped at the range of the artillery, and after the artillery finished destroying the opposing units, the entire army failed to advance and take the province. When there is artillery in an advancing army, the artillery should stop and separate from the rest of the army when becoming "in range" and the rest of the army should then continue to advance to the intended target. :wallbash

Just split the stack before you attack the province. Some people want the artillery in the same stack to protect the art.

That is the intended function of the attack command.

A high command subscription allows you to select from multiple fire control options.

Give an artillery group a move order with a setting of offensive or aggressive and it will pause at range and bombard any units it encounters, and then continue moving when no enemies are in range again.
