At war but not with enemy Game 1,806,840

In the game above, I have been slowly taking out enemies across the map. I have been picking my targets carefully to avoid what is happening now. For some reason, I am "at war" with Russia yet I am not at war with Russia.I am at war with Poland and have been attacking his cities. In the city of Poznan, I had 1 light tank, 1 artillery, and an anti-tank gun there after I took it over. There was also a group of Russian troops (12th Light Tank Division) that were there when I attacked, had remained there while my artillery attacked another town, and had remain "neutral" while all this was going on. I was losing a battle in another city and tried to move my light tank out of Poznan to assist it. I set the orders to "march" to the other town. I made some orders for other troops and went back to Poznan and see that I am now fighting the Russians. When I select the units, it says they are fighting each other, yet when I go to the diplomacy screen, Russian and I still have right of way. There is no report of him attacking me or me him in the newspaper.

I have friendly terms with both Russia and Germany and have been moving troops through both of them for many days. I am not trying to attack Russian nor did I tell my unit to attack them. This error could cost me the round if Russia decides to attack. Seems the inactive human players are able to attack other countries on their own as well. While I was in the middle of taking over Poland's areas, Germany declared war and attacked him as well. Germany actually moved troops into Poland to take over areas.

I am not real happy about the Russia thing because it could very well destroy my armies I have been careful to keep from doing so. Now, my troops in Danzig have died because I couldn't get my reinforcements to them before they were killed. With inactive Germany actively attacking, it will likely cost me many territories in that area.

Not sure what you can do, but really not cool that this happened.
