Appeals will always take longer than 72 hours. There needs to be an investigation to prove that you were not actually cheating to trip the anti-cheat system, and that takes time. Cases for that department are handled in the order they are received.

You should NOT expect to join the game you were in before, because even if your account is reset, playing that same game that did not have anticheat disabled will get you instantly banned again within a couple days, so don't do that.

The anticheat system checks and tracks many things, one of which is the IP address of your network connection. Playing in a ranked game with anticheat normally on from a shared connection is one of the things that is checked.

So if you are going to play a game with friends using the same connection, create a game with the anticheat tracking disabled, or turned off.
