Yes, it consumes a lot of power on mobile.
Battery CoW
before call of war 2.0, my phone would always be 50% after a day playing. But now, every time I play Call of war, my phone drops down to 20%. For some reason call of war 2.0 consumes a lot of battery. Any one else has the same problem?

Try switching to low Graphics mode
Using that... the new client is still unplayable.
It's not just the app, the game consumes a lot of power in desktop/laptop mode as well.
My laptop has to stay plugged in, or I get at most 1 hour of play time.
The normal battery life of my laptop is 2 days, if I do not open CoW.
I had 2 games open in chrome. I watched the cpu usage for awhile and the average seemed to be around 5.5% cpu. I killed both tabs and watched a bit and average seems to be around 3.0 % ish. It's using a bit of cpu but it's not crazy.z00mz00m wrote:

It's probably doing more than just using CPU.
There must be tons of graphics computations and screen updates.
Network events flying around to keep the client in sync with the server.
