it still shows if you destroyed a building i think

So my Battleships were maxed out and i sent one of my battleships to destroy a lone airfield he bombed it TWO TIMES FOR TWO HOURS! and the airfield which has 5 hitpoints wasnt destroyed??!?!?!? My battleships has 7 damage against buildings there were no troops at that province and yet it wasnt destroyed? how??

THE TWO OF YOU WHICH REPLIED ARE WRONG! I HAVE BEEN USING AROUND 5 BATTLESHIPS NOW FOR LIKE 24 HOURS BOMBINB AN AIRFIELD! I FOUND OUT THAT BATTLESHIP DAMAGE IS BUGGED! MY 5 BATTLESHIPS
DID 1 HITPOINT OF DAMAGE ON THE AIRFIELD EACH HOUR THIS MEANS BATTLESHIPS IN 1.0 ARE BUGGED FIX THIS FAST!
Building damage is currently bugged (for a long time). The anti building values in the unit details are not correct, they are in practice ~5% of the displayed value.
We are currently working on overhauling the damage calculation for buildings to fix this. This is no small feature since its intertwined with the battle calculation, so it will take a bit still until we can release it.

The whole thing is happening because of 1.5
By definition, changes only happen in 1.5, so problems only happen in 1.5 
That said, it's common for devs to double-down on a mistake and try to fix it by making more changes on top of the first change, instead of rolling back the first change. As a dev (of other kinds of software) I'm very familiar with how and why this happens

Just clarifying, this building damage bug exists since the age of time, so it is an old CoW1.0 bug. We will fix it in 1.5 by changing how the whole building damage calculation works.z00mz00m wrote:

I was trying to use tac bombers to take out some air-fields and it also wasn't working. Look forward to the new updates!
