British India = South India?

After searching through the newspaper for the mysterious capture of Shiraz by the British India forces despite there being Persian infantry there, I encountered some weird observations, or bugs, as I should say.

Here you can see that British India had gained Shiraz through trading, but it states the nation as South India, a bug? I have no idea.
