The Rocket is going backwards yet the shadow is facing in the right Direction and then after some time it just "crashes" and goes back to Maiduguri/launch site with the status "Waiting"

The rocket animation being displayed at an incorrect angle is a known issue.

When a rocket does not reach the destination this means that your order was not actually transmitted to the server. The server status arrows in the lower right corner were likely spinning and waiting for an answer from the server. Reloading the game and having a solid connection to the server is recommended.
