Buying gold via bitcoin !! NOT WORKING !!

Hi, it seems to be a problem by the payment system from Xsolla, Bitcoins are not used very often, so it can be, that they not accept them anymore. But I'm not sure, I made an internal request and wait for a answer from the main admin.

Still waiting for this to get fixed.... sigh....

1 bitcoin is currently worth $406...and why not just use a credit card like everyone else?

Haven't you heard of personal preference or individual choices?

Its my choice to use Bitcoin. I feel that using Bitcoin is more secure than giving the unknown my Credit Card information. I control the flow of the Bitcoin; The merchant (or hacker )controls the flow of the Credit Card charges thus I have no control over how or what charges are spent on if hacked or stolen.

Besides, A virtual currency for a virtual game .... it just makes sense.

Obviously you have not used bitcoin because when buying gold, a person is not using a WHOLE bitcoin to make a gold purchase. I wouldn't be spending $400+ on gold. Only the cash equivalent in BTC (a fraction of a BTC) is used to make a $9.99, $19.99 , $29.99 etc gold purchase. Although Butcoin has COIN in the name which conjures up the image of a hard physical metal COIN which would be hard to split up... Bitcoin is virtual, it is infinitely divisible making it available for exact amount purchases.

Actually that hasn't been a "bug" or task for our developers.

The payment provider Xsolla decided to disable Bitcoin payment, and they told me they are very unsure if they will ever enable it again.

That is something we at Bytro Labs can unfortunately not influence, as it's soleley the decision of Xsolla to stop the support of Bitcoin payments. They promised to notify me if there are any news, but at the moment it looks like it will be permanently inavailable.

If your Paypal payments fail, it is a Paypal matter, not Bytro - there are a lot of reasons why their payments don't work.

As I commented somewhere else, each payment provider has their own set of rules, a lot of them are supposed to protect customers from fraud (which makes perfectly sense), although they quite often don't really work too well.

If your Paypal payment fails, you should contact Paypal - they can give you a reason. Our systems work fine.
