the implementation of carrier operations has been faulty since inception in CoW.
playing from mobile likely worsens the situation.

Carrier Bug
I was playing from my mobile and ordered carrier based planes to relocate to an airstrip but they got dumped into the ocean instead. Has this happened to anyone else?

Mobile playing shouldn't make much differnce.... this should be server-side code? Need conformation on that though.
Bugs like that were very common until maybe three month ago, but then a fix was released which solved them; I haven't seen any behavior like that since then (and I play carriers quite often). Apparently there are still use cases left that are buggy though. Try to identify any special circumstances that were in play and report them here to help out the dev trying to catch this (new?) bug.

Here is a link to a screenshot from when I got back to my desktop. I can't think of any unique circumstances. I was at the edge of maximum range, but that shouldn't matter.
