Chat updates cluttering the map

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but the chat feature looks more prominent now.

It even shows updates like "so and so was banned by so and so" right on the map.

Why do I care that so and so is banned by so and so?

How is this relevant to my gaming experience?

Please don't show those updates on top of the map.

Also, please give me a way to get rid of the chat altogether.

It's never been a usable feature, in my opinion, but it was small and easy to ignore.

Now it seems to take up more space, and it's starting to annoy me.

First thing i do each time i join the map, I open and then close the chat. No popups for me.

to Mutch stuff cluttering up the map, resources tab at top is huge.No need for all the chat from everyone in the forums just the game your playing is enough,

some graphics are worse some are better. My biggest one is the move command and then if you need to stop have to open the more box and stop is in there ,wasn’t it in the first bar in the old game ? Hope fully be a few tweeks to the update and should be fine a reckon no point throwing the toys out the pram Like what some are doing ✌️

Yep, 'stop' getting moved to 'more' just doesn't make sense. 'stop' should be back in the front row. Chuck 'upgrade' and 'add target' back to where they once were, in 'more'.

I like "Add Target" where it is, it's one of the commands I use most often.

Stop, Move, and Add Target are the most useful, to me.

One thing that would help with all the unit actions:

Make the icons easier to tell apart.

They all kind of look like squiggles, and I often tap the wrong one.

So yeah, between the rearranging of the actions, and the hard to distinguish icons... it's a bit of a struggle.

And no, this is not a matter of getting used to things, this is downright difficult to use.

Big +1 to finding the chat annoying. I also open and close it immediately upon opening maps on PC. Before I do that the chat text is usually overlaid on the map, which is strange.

+1 to add target being very commonly used, I appreciate it being in the first row.

I also appreciate that the second row remains on screen (on mobile) when you hit it. Another technique I often use is to tap Force March on and off, usually because I've captured a province somewhere along the current unit's path and I want to see the updated ETA (because the speed change due to a province now being mine rather than an enemy's, thus eliminating the 50% speed penalty, isn't automatic for some reason). This is much easier to do on mobile now that the second row stays put after I turn Force March on, so I can quickly turn it off.
