crimea is not labeled as a country in tutorial map

Maybe because someone has taken it already?

I agree with Wafflearmy ... I recently played my first 7 games in the tutorial map and Crimea was not identified as a country ... Map needs to be updated identifying Crimea as a country ... (-:

In the background of the image you can see Crimea is untaken as of yet.

Its part of Russia in real life. But in tutorial map, which I recently played 7 times, Crimea is not part of either Ukraine, Communist Russia, Imperial Russia, Cossack Republic, nor Caucus. May be you should try to play tutorial map and see by yourself ... (-:

Add to that that you can declare war on Crimea and this not to be counted as a war (no war penalty).

This is a known issue with the current editions of the 22 and tutorial mode 22 player maps.

Crimea is not listed in diplomacy.

when you zoom out after it is conquered it will display "Empty" as will Austria I believe.

The flag of Crimea is actually the Hungarian flag.

These are all issues that will be fixed with the next map update. An update for these maps is not currently scheduled as far as I know with the map department working on event maps and such currently.
