New players get a medium tank for their tutorial match.

Day 1 of Game - Opponent has Day 4 Tech
Has anyone had this happen to them before? I was invading my neighbor and all of a sudden they have Medium Tanks. I sent in a note to the support email, but I am curious if this someone cheating or just a game error?
I am happy to provide the screenshots/info that I sent support if that will help with anything.

I appreciate the response. I did not realize that would also apply in matches that were not listed as Tutorial matches. Thanks again!

Yes in tutorial matches, the first time a player plays they start out with a bonus of a med tank, plus resources as well

Tutorial rounds also allow more experienced player to join, which leads to this confusion.
