Diagonal line across map?

What's up with this? It spans the entire map (WW1939). AFAIK there is nothing at the ends of that line, and it clearly cannot be a path.

It is a unit movement line gone wrong

Nope, it even goes through sea. In the Homefront map and the HWW map it is there in the same spot.
