I attacked a cruiser flotilla consisting of 2 destroyers and 2 cruisers, using my naval bomber wing (11 planes).

After two attacks, I lost 2 planes and the flotilla was down to 1 destroyer and 1 cruiser (damaged hitpoints on both). I relocate my bomber wing to another part of my territory to prepare for a different attack and log out. During this time I constantly checked to see whether the game was connected to the server. Logged back in after an hour or two - my naval bomber wing is still down to 9 planes, but the enemy cruiser flotilla is back to 4 ships. The same thing happened to another enemy naval task force, but I just mentioned the cruiser flotilla.
