Error in registration. Assistance please!

Alright, so my problem is that when I was registering my email, my email somehow became registered too another account, titled nicolas301.

When i started, the game thrust me into a random map, where I was given control of yugoslavia. I did not like playing as yugoslavia, so i backed out in the middle of the tutorial. I sent a registration email to my email address, and the heading had the correct username. Yet somehow an alien account wound up being verified with my email address, thus receiving the benefits instead. i do not control that account.

i would like my email to be verified to my actual in-game account, TheArdentPragmatist. i do not care about the benefits, but i would like to have my account contain a verified email in-game. Right now it doesn't(yes, I tried to change the email manually, it didn't work. I tried another email address, and it didn't work).
