Forum Notifications Bug

This bug has to do with how the Notifications are dealt with in the Forum.

When one posts in a thread in the forum that you are watching, then their posting will cause you to have a notification of that posting at the top of the page frame. When someone "likes" your post in a thread, there is also a notification of that "like" in the Notifications button at the top of the frame.

When you click on either of the above notifications, your page gets redirected to that thread and both notifications are canceled (as in, they are no longer flagged with red). This is normal behavior for the forums.

However, if someone (for example) "likes" AND quotes your post on a user's wall, or they like yours and posts their own post on a wall, then, when you later click on either of the notifications of said posting, the other (i.e., the notification for a "like" or for the quotation) does not get cleared (as in, it does not cease to be flagged).

This is a very minor bug. But, it is a departure from the expected behavior and can be annoying when trying to review large numbers of flagged notifications.

It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.
The saying, "beating them into submission until payday", is just golden...pun intended.
