Frontline Pioneer
What is Frontline Pioneering?
The Frontline Pioneer or 'FP' is a testing area for new game implementations made by Bytro.
New things, such as the recently added Airplane Carrier was tested in FP before it was released on the standard maps.
If you have been selected as a Pioneer, and chosen to accept, you will have access to games that are already made as FP map. (unless they are passworded, naturally). It is our hope, that many active players will take part in this and help Bytro make the game better for everyone. Active players who can identify, problem solve, and report bugs with accuracy are key to the success of the Frontline Pioneers program. If you have been selected we greatly appreciate any effort to test new things.
You can start a new map as a Fronline map by selecting it when making the game, as shown in the spoiler below.
So how do you test things?
Test the features as you would in any other game simply by building structures and researching and producing troops and moving them around or attacking.
Use the links posted in the top of the dedicated FP chat to go direct to the "Bug report section" on the forums or use the in game "bug report" to report any bugs you may find, like units stuck or unable to fire or whatever problem may occur. Be sure to flag your bug report, that it is a FP game.
In the FP chat you can converse with other Pioneers about problems you find.

so the question i have is did it kill the bug or do i need to name the bug for the tech's
the bug i have named startrooper all of the frontline games are not and have been not able to build troops for the last 48 hours there is at least 4 different reports of it and the frontline chat is filled with reports as well

the startrooper bug has gotten stronger over night all FRONTLINE GAMES ARE DOWN I REPEAT ALL FRONTLINE GAMES ARE DOWN unkown if the techs are alive or wounded probaly both good luck to the remaining techs that may or may not be trying to solve frontline roblems

I was "kicked" from FLP for so called not playung in one of the games, BUT I have been....Not happy...would like re-instated in FLP please...thank you

Got a question, a guy moved his units through a computer player in a Frontline Pioneer game and is denying it. What should I do?

Thanks didn't know u could do that. But I mean shouldn't he not do that in Frontline Pioneer games?

That works in all games. Front line pioneer or regular. If you set your relation with the AI to right of way they may change their relation with you to Right of Way in 2 to 8 days, depending on how they feel about you and your reputation. Some AI never seem to give you ROW, or at least not before I lost patience and wipe them out 
I believe the AI in the Antartica Dominion map will not return ROW, as that defeats the purpose of that game.

Tried to join FP game #2704986. Pressed the 'Join' button and it kicked me out to the Community/News tab. Received a message that I had been kicked from the round for not joining in 10 minutes. The round still appears in 'My Games'.

That is a closed game, so this is expected behavior for this game.Nooberium wrote:

Cannot open FP game# 2705264. Appears to start loading and then hangs. No problem with non-FP round.
