Game not loading since update

My game has not been able to load almost all day of July 5. It loaded first thing this morning around 6 am est. But hasn’t been able to load at all since about 9 am.

Can someone from Bytro please talk to me? I have tried emailing support. I have tried commenting on fb and I have tried here. No response yet and my fb comment was deleted.

What are the specifics of the situation? Game type, whether event/normal, hosting, etc.? Because I've not been having similar problems, but a mate of mine has.

I was playing free for all. After the update every time I try to log in, I get stuck on the loading screen with the bar moving across.

When I open the app, it just keeps loading and the bar’s just moving across without even making a sound nor at least entering the homepage

Hey, can you please submit a ticket in-game (if possible) so we can take a look? It will also be helpful if you could provide game IDs (of those that you cannot access, as well as your username.

I do not seem to be facing this issue, whatever it is, it is not universal.

Hi. I submitted a report via the support button before you log in on the game. I also sent an e-mail to support using the e-mail found on the fb page. But I have not received a reply to either one. I cannot log in so I cannot get the game id, in fact I cannot even start a new game. I cannot get past the loading screen. My username is lepsman1.

Hi, we are aware of 2 problems right now:

  1. Some players cannot login using mobile devices.
  2. Some players cannot login using Steam, most likely after switching to the Beta client.

We are still trying to find the cause for this.

Whenever you report something not loading, please provide as much detail as possible. Including your username (or userID), the gameID (if you can see it), on which device you are playing and if you activated the beta client or not, and if you are a frontline pioneer (beta player), if you are using the app: Which app version.

For extra points, when you play on desktop and have the problem, hit F12 while loading the game, then click on console, and post a screenshot of the log.

@freezy can you please keep me updated? I have been able to login through my computer but still cannot use my preferred way of playing - through my mobile device.

@freezy any updates on this? I am heading out on vaca soon and my only way to play would be through mobile device.

We are still investigating.

Can you actually update chrome browser on your phone? This may fix the problem (if it did, please report back)

So you guys just can’t get the mobile app to work..!?

I’m using an old phone right now, iPhone 5s.. so the updated chrome doesn’t work on this phone as it requires iOS 14

I see, that's unfortunate. The app is actually just a wrapper that loads the game in a system browser. Only this way can it be crossplatform playable on both desktop and mobile. Our suspicion is that Chrome interferes with this somehow.

Once we know the root cause we will fix it, but I don't know how long it will take. So I suggested to you to try this possible workaround instead, as fixing and updating the app will take longer than downloading a new Chrome version. It would also have helped us nailing down the problem, as we are still investigating. Another thing you could try is updating your Safari browser, if thats possible.

If anyone else in this thread with loading problems can try updating Chrome and reporting back if that fixed the issue, it would be appreciated!

edit: Got confirmation from another user that updating Chrome indeed fixed it for him.

I am using the app on my iPhone. I am not using chrome.

I tried going through an updated chrome. Still not working for me.

I seems updating Chrome only solves this for Android phones.

Can you then please try updating your Safari browser to the latest version, and report back if that solves it for you?
