In a Blitzkrieg round I'm in, I don't have the option to speed up construction or production via Gold in my core city of Glasgow.
I tried to access the Gold menu via the unit production selection screen, but the Gold popup wouldn't load. I rarely use Gold in my games, but I desperately need this artillery unit on the battlefield ASAP.
I tried building something in another city, and I have the Gold options here:
So maybe it's something with Glasgow in particular? I even reloaded the page, but it didn't help.

You have a couple If this happens again, first is the old cancel the unit and building and replace it in hopes of it starting again. If that does not work the old leave and come back might. If that doesn’t work you have another option of going to mobile and trying it there. Either switch to mobile on computer or pull out your device. Since it’s been a while it’s probably too late for this situation but hopefully that prevents this until this bug is fixed or it happens again.

I think if your troops are fighting in that city, you can’t speed up production until the fighting is done.
edit: I’m wrong lol, that is the case but I just saw this thread is ‘on the list’
