GOOD things we LIKE in the 2.0 client

Let's try something different.

Yeah, the "gems" icon is laughable, and all the icons are blurry. Wait for the fix, it will come.

No, they're not going to bring back the old client, and no they will not make gold use less prominent. Get over it.

I want to talk about GOOD things we LIKE in the new client, to encourage more of those types of changes.

1. The newspaper looks better. Stats (like the biggest army ranking) are easier to find.

2. Events are more informative. How much oil did army #1 plunder? Where did army #2 die, and what killed it?

These are nice changes, keep them coming.

I like the ‘armies’ tab that lists all your troop stacks and where they are, how many units that group has killed.

Something that’s been requested for a long time.

also you can now invite people to coalitions instead of waiting for them to apply then accept them

They added pictures of what each unit looked like in real life although sometimes a picture of level 4 unit will be the same as a level 6 but level five will be different.

there’s a quick menu for map filters that let you change map settings without blocking the screen with the main menu and also let’s you hide certain units from view (not sure why you’d want to but it’s there)

Imagine you're planning an operation that requires units of a certain type, like attack bombers to go kill some armor that broke through, or escort ships to support an invasion. You can zoom out really wide, then filter out everything except what you need. Then you select them all and send them off.
