Google account on Steam login

Hi, I've been playing on mobile and browser for a while, but would like to play this on Steam. Only difference between browser/mobile and steam is that I can't log in to my account google in steam. I tried to use an email as id and it didn't work. Is it possible to play with a google account on steam or not?
