Ground units cannot move out of combat

Ground units cannot move out of combat.

Nomatter how many times they get the order to run, or how long you let them try, they just stay put untill they are dead.

I asume its intentional, but it can be really annoying.

I can understand (a little) that an infantry unit cannot escape from a light tank.

But WHY are they so stubborn when attacked by naval units? Its not as if a destroyer could pursue them.

They just stand and die. Very heroically. And utterly pointless.

What if I'm indoctrinated and actually fighting the good guys?

True. This has been discussed before. I am for changing this, yeah.

The past is a foreign country.

Zarathursa(did I spell that right?) said it won't be changed.

Lol, I also got it wrong. It's Zarathustra.

The past is a foreign country.

Did he also say why it wont be changed?

If a unit is attacked by artillery it can still move.

Attacked by naval should be the same imho.

What if I'm indoctrinated and actually fighting the good guys?

Thanks.

He said it won't be changed because that is how the devs want it. Or something along those lines.
