High Command troop queue not working

I saw one other post with the same problem but, I figured i would enter one in English.

If I queue up troops and my resources fall below the required amount for the next troop, troop production ends, as it should. However, when my resource levels get back to where they need to be, production does not continue. I have to clear my entire queue and start again, just for the same problem to happen. This is usually only in the early game as resource production is a top priority in the early going but, this is still something that should be fixed. It is one of the selling points of High Command and there are multiple players having this issue

Items have a priority in the queue based on the order in which they are added. This is the intended function of the build queue and it works as intended.

For example if you add units and buildings to the queue from one province first, and then go to a second province and add the same list, the items from the first province will have priority and resources will be saved for them.

In other words: resources are allocated for the highest priority items and later added items are a lower priority.

I have never had this problem. I don’t have high command but I remember doing the free trial and once the resource went back up it always started producing for me!

same, never had this problem.

What country r u? And if u play tutorial game and u r new u get resource boost (for the game that they auto joined for u)

However, I did not play tutorial as I didn’t know what it was and joined something else, the normal CON.

Resource was terrible, but I won thanks to supportive mates.

I did used the high command free trial like 2 weeks after I first started playing in a 4x speed world at war game and my coalition came second..and yeah new players definitely need the 70% more resources cause I was negative food and oil even with the 70% bonus.

yeah I don’t have high command

hi

VorlonFCW,

Does the queue bias construction over production?

Example:

I had enough resources to build a new LT, but the province was producing one with 9+ hrs remaining. I also wanted to start a level 5 Industrial Complex in the same province with no ongoing construction, but was short cash. Placing the LT and IC into the queue, respectively (LT - IC), should have shown 9+ hrs until the LT starts and an extended period until the IC starts to recover the necessary resources.

However, it showed 19+ hrs for the LT and <1hr for the IC (to get needed cash as all other resources were available). Swapping the order (IC - LT) did not affect either start time estimates. I tried multiple iterations, including canceling the full queue and clicking them in the order I truly wanted. Same result.

I added a third item - an IC level 1 - in a different province and with a similar cash shortfall. As I shifted those three around, the IC's start time estimates changed, but the LT's did not regardless of order.

So then I waited with the order LT, IC5, IC1. The IC5 jumped the queue ahead of the LT.

So, I'm left to conclude that the building queue has a bias toward construction over production.

But what if I really wanted that LT to start first...in 9 hours, not 19...

That is the way it currently works @WashingtonWarMachine. Buildings that can be started when adding to the queue do start immediately, which isn’t intuitive. This is on the list for improvement as time allows.
