Historic World War German Flag Ununiformity

In Call of War it appears there are 3 different German flag variations.

1. German Empire Tricolor (black/white/red)

2. Reich (simple red with black cross)

3. Reich War Ensign (red with black stripes design)

In Clash of Nations, Road to War, etc... Germany uses the German Empire Tricolor design.

However, in Historic World War they use the Reich variant. The issue is that the capital indicator uses the Reich War Ensign version which does not match-up.

What I am suggesting is that Historic World War be made uniform and use the Reich War Ensign (as already seen in the capital indicator). From an aesthetic standpoint it would look nicer if all of these flags were uniform.

I agree, its a small change but theres no reason for there to be 2 different flags for germany. Why is it even called german empire for 1939 mode anyways though, shouldn't it be the German Reich to be more historically accurate?

I completely agree the only empire ever related to Germany was the Holy Roman Empire atndthats like 400-500 years old and long gone, German Reich is much better.

German Reich evokes images of things that violate the ToS, as well as certain aspects of German law.

How about just "Germany" then? For example United Kingdom is not called "British Empire" even though they have colonies across the map. Germany is the only one referred to as an empire. It is also called Germany in Clash of Nations for example.
