I like historic world war, probably one of my favorite maps, but it has some issues.
I’m Canadian, and I know that Canada is bigger than US. I know some people go like well Canada is big enough and it only has 50 points, but I thought the whole point of this map was that it was supposed to be HISTORICAL. Also Greenland is too small. In real life it is almost half the size of Canada.
Germany’s army wasn’t that big in 1939. In this game, Germany can easily take France and then U.K. but they couldn’t historically.
Hawai should be a core province of the US. It is a state in the US today.
I might be biased but I think Canada should have more points. Canada has helped a lot in WW2 and it even had its own beach at D-Day. I think you should upgrade Canada to have 100 points.
Soviet Union is underpowered. It had one of the most advanced armies at that time and once again, Soviet Union was able to defeat germany historically but will easily fall to the Germans in this game.
France is underpowered. Historically, France had the largest army in Europe and only fell to the Germans because of luck and Germany’s blitzkreig tactics.
UK has a manpower problem. Since when did U.K. have a manpower problem. A lot of people volunteered to fight in the war.
Also why is St.John a core province of U.K.
If these issues can get fixed. I think historic world war could actually be a bit more HISTORICAL.

1.)Eh, physical size in a game that's representative. I'm not bothered by it, too much.
2.) This is true, France could have a much larger, but less technologically advanced military, I guess.
3.) Hawai'i didn't become a state fifteen years after the war ended, for one thing. It could hardly be considered a core territory in the 1930s. Even though it's a state, it can hardly be considered a core territory today.
4.) I think you are biased. Canada did help a lot in WW2, but comparatively? Eh..
5.) The Soviets are definitely not underpowered. They failed to even take Finland, historically. They certainly weren't known for their vast technological advancements in the 30s.
6.) Is addressed in 2.).
UK most certainly did have a manpower problems.

No the map is pretty right. Also greenland looks big on most maps, but in reality its really small.

Greenland is the worlds biggest island!
Anyway: the point above that the Soviet Union is underpowered, is a total miss. USSR has endless ressources in this game. You don't even have to build recruitment. USSR is an auto-win if you have any brains at all.
Besides, I thin the OP puts too much in 'historical'. It still has to be playable so ofc. the nations have been tweaked to fit something near historical, but without throwing balance completely overboard. I have played several different nations now, so I know.

it has more the 50 points correctly. Yes there army wasn’t that big but it did become that big eventually. Hawaii wasn’t a state in 1939. Yes canda should be more powerful every game it gets crushes by the USA. Soviet Union is slightly under powered. I disagree France did get invaded by Germany. No no the uk is fine as it is. Idk.

getting invaded by a nation does not make your army smaller, France had the largest army but it was quickly defeated
