I can't start conversations in the Forum

Hey,

since I have created this Forum-Account I was not able to start conversations or getting added to converstions.

When someone tries to add me, they get a error-message like 'This User does not have the required permission to be in a conversation' or something similar to this example.

I don't know if it's something I messed up or if it's just a 'System-Having-Fun-Again' moment...
